Hello, Ysabelle Bernard.
» Is there anything you would rather be called?
"Just "Belle" will do.
» Great, now that we've got that covered. How old are you?
"I'm twenty seven years old. Not that it matters."
» I see. Are you versed in the art of magic?
"No, I'm 100% human. I'd love to be able to produce magic though! It's the stuff of fairy tales, and I'm a total sap when it comes to those. I'm slightly envious of magic users, actually."
» You know, has anyone ever told you that you look exactly like...?
"Emmy Rossum? Great. No idea who that is, but alright :]"

Let's talk about your personality.
» What are a few of your favorite things?
"Reading is my favourite past-time; it's more than that really. I own a bookstore in town so my love for literature extends from a hobby into practically every other aspect of my life. I particularly love spending an evening at home, relaxing on the sofa and indulging in a flight into fantasy, a cup of coffee or glass of wine in hand. I also enjoy tinkering with machinery. My father is a mechanic and raised me on his own, so I grew up around cars and bikes, etc. He used to let me help out so I have some experience there. When I'm not working, I like to have a few drinks in the Poison Apple, and shoot some pool. On a quiet day, I like to go horseriding or walk along the beach, but most of all I love adventure. Anything that keeps me on the go."
»That's interesting. Is there anything you absolutely dislike?
"Yeah. I don't like those vain types; you know the ones I'm talking about? I mean, what's the point in living your life around how good you look? I can think of plenty of things I'd rather be doing. I don't like mean-spirited people; it's just beastly and there is no need for that kind of behaviour. I also hate boring, monotonous lectures; my history teacher had one of those voices that just droned on and on, making me tired all of the time."
» Hm, what is your greatest fear?
"Something happening to my father; he's the only person in the world I have left. He's my rock, even though he is a little...eccentric."
» Yeah, that is scary. Do you have any dreams for the future?
"Oh, I'd like to do something more exciting with my life - I mean, it's a big world, right? There has to be more to it than just working all day. I'd love to go on one of the adventures I often read about in books. Who knows? Maybe some day."
» Wow, I hope you succeed. So,what do you think of magic? Do you think it should be controlled or allowed to be practiced freely?
"Well, I don't have anything against magic users, I mean, they should be allowed to lead their own lives just like us right? Of course, I agree that by leading their own lives, they should also be restricted - like us humans - by certain laws that are put in place so that things don't get out of hand or taken for granted. I don't doubt that there are some dangerous magic users out there - it's the same in all races, you take the good with the bad."
» Can you tell me a little bit about yourself?
"I've been told that I'm fairly intelligent, but quite the daydreamer. My school teachers used to say that I was "living in a fantasy" most of the time and that one day it would get me into trouble. I love to escape from the mundane reality of life; what's so bad about that? I'm fairly grounded, and I tend to get on well with people around me - even if they do look at me funny. I'm fiercely defensive of my father - I don't like the way that some people in town talk about him, just because he has some wild ideas. He's a great man; a genius, actually. I can be quite stubborn at times, and have a slight temper on me - I'm not half bad at putting up a fight if anyone tries to mess with me - but I can also be caring and nurturing; I hate to see people hurt, unless they deserve it."

So far so good. Now for history.
» So tell me, where are you from? Are you a natural Faraway citizen? What did you think of it?
"I was born and raised in Faraway, though my papa's family originated from a far off country named France. I grew up in the countryside. I liked it, but it just wasn't exciting enough for me. I wanted to venture out into the world and take it all in. You can hardly do that from a village square now, can you?"
» Do you have any other family? Parents? Siblings? Extended? What do you think about them?
"Just my father. We're very close, seeing as he raised me almost single-handedly. I'd say he's done a fairly good job; others might disagree, but that's their problem."
» Do you work or go to school? Oh? What do you do there? You enjoying it?
"I owned a bookstore in the city, but after some unfortunate events which led to my store's destruction, I shut it down and sold the property on to someone with enough money to fix the place up. I hear it's now a furniture store. Fantastic. Right now, I'm working as a librarian over at the Faraway Institutional Library. I enjoy it, and the job suits me, plus I'm basically doing what it was I did when I ran Belle's Bookstore, so it's not too drastic a change. The only slight difference is having random men stalking me between shelves and pretending to be reading, when the book is clearly upside down. I dunno, it must be something about the librarian get-up that does it. Pfft."
» Any memory of your life you'd like to share? It can be a good or bad memory?
"Being involved in a shoot-out in my bookstore, the result of which ruined it. I have to admit, the whole event was probably the most exciting and terrifying experience I've had so far. It's a fond memory, and quite a good chapter in the story of my life."
» Where are you now? What are you doing with your life?
"As I said, I'm living in the city and working in the local library. Occassionally, I'll help father out at his garage. He's getting on now, but he's still determind. At least with me around he can't do too much damage. When I'm not working hard, I'm off having fun. I've even taken up self-defence classes on the advice of an old friend. Saying that, I still crave my own adventure."
