Hello, Penrith Fioccio.
» Is there anything you would rather be called?
"Please, please, PLEASE call me Penn. Now I'm grateful for the name my mama gave me, but who in the hell would want to be called Penrith?"
» Great, now that we've got that covered. How old are you?
"I am twenty-two years old, and counting."
» I see. Are you versed in the art of magic?
"Ha. No way, man. Unless you call what I can do with a guitar "magic"."
» You know, has anyone ever told you that you look exactly like...?
"Darren Criss? Nah, I'm ten times better looking than that mess of a man. Other than that, he's half-Asian, half-whuddeva the hell he is. I'm one hundred percent Italiano."

Let's talk about your personality.
» What are a few of your favorite things?
""A good plate of Italian food. I really like the Bella Notte place. I‘m even pretty good friends with the owner. Feh. He makes a plate of spaghetti that‘s so good, it makes me wanna slap my Nonna, and that‘s disrespectful, because she‘s been dead for several years now, may she rest in peace. I can‘t even begin to tell you how much I love women too. But that merely only goes into flirtations, itself. I tend to get a bit shy around women. Especially if they are just.... hot stuff. Let's use that phrase. But as soon as I feel comfortable with a girl, you betta believe the moves will be put on.
I love to play the guitar. Actually, I'm in a band. Now we aren't that big yet, or anything, but we try. It's fun to me, that's all that matters at this point. We play things like weddings and bat mitzvahs, and that's cool, ya know?"
»That's interesting. Is there anything you absolutely dislike?
""I can‘t stand the ocean. Nope. I‘m afraid I‘m going to get attacked by sharks. Do you know how many people get attacked by sharks annually? Yeah? Me either. But it has to be a lot, am I right? Come on, don't laugh at me. That's a rational fear! Fine. On to the more serious dislikes. I hate uptight people. I can‘t handle it. I ain‘t got no strings on me. Nothing or nobody is going to hold me down. I live a free and easy life. So being around uptight people will only bring me down, a‘ight? And don‘t tell me how to live my life either, capish? I don't like being told what to do. Which gets me in trouble most of the time. That and my dishonesty streak. But that's beside the point."
» Hm, what is your greatest fear?
"Being attacked by sharks, duhI don‘t really have a lot of fears. I guess my greatest fear would be losing my father. He‘s really all I have in the world, and I don‘t know how I‘d get along if I lost him. He‘s the greatest, really. He‘s been there with me through every part of my life, and if I do lose him, I lose every part of me."
» Yeah, that is scary. Do you have any dreams for the future?
"I want to be an actor. Hey, don‘t laugh at me! That‘s really what I want. Maybe even a little Broadway. Yeah. That‘s really my passion. Anything to do with music, really. If my little band makes it big, I won't be complaining. I know my dad wants me to take over his boat constructing business when he‘s kicks the pot, but like I said, I hate the ocean. That job would require me to be by the water at all times. Sorry, too many sharks in the water. That‘s not my style. Yeah, getting eaten is not my style. Quit laughing at me. You're supposed to be interviewing me. Not laughing your ass off at everything I say. Fine. I'm leaving. Bye. ... What? Now you're apologizing. Fine. I'll stay... bitch"
» Wow, I hope you succeed. So,what do you think of magic? Do you think it should be controlled or allowed to be practiced freely?
"Ah, well. I haven't really come across that many magic users since I've been here, so I don't really have that much of an opinion. But I think there should at least be some restrictions on the use of it. I mean, what would a world be like where people could just use magic as a means for every little thing. Where would the fun be in that? I don't think they should be able to use if for little, easy things. Nor do I think they should use it if they get angry. If they don't follow the rules set before them, then they should probably get their powers taken away."
» Can you tell me a little bit more about yourself?
"I guess I‘d say I‘m a pretty friendly guy. I mean, what isn‘t there to like about me? Sure I… lie a lot to get what I want, and stuff. But who doesn‘t nowadays! It‘s like the popular thing! Is there anyone in this God forsaken place that doesn‘t lie on a consistent basis? I didn’t think so. Though, if you know the signs, you can tell when I’m lying. It’s weird, but this one hair on my head stands on end. It’s the strangest thing. Also really creepy. My dad noticed it happened every time I lie, so there goes trying to lie to him. Besides that, I’d say I’m a fair singer. I play instruments, and I think that’s really fun. I’m kind of bad at keeping promises, but I’m trying to work on that! I really just need someone there to guide me through all of this, you know? I try to tell my father about this, but he just tells me that I need to grow up and act like a “real man”. You know what? That’s why my resolve is so strong. To prove to my father that I can be a “real man”."

So far so good. Now for history.
» So tell me, where are you from? Are you a natural Faraway citizen? What did you think of it?
"I was born in Sicily, Italy. It was a lovely little village, from what I remember, I didn't live there long. When I was about five we moved to Faraway. Sicily is what Dad still calls home, but Faraway has more opportunity for me, and far more interesting people. The most people had in that village were goats. You can‘t blame me for wanting something more.
Faraway has been good to me so far. I mean, I met great friends. My papa and I aren't the only Italians here, I have a band. Etcetera, etcetera. So, I think the place is pretty damn amazing. It hasn't given me any reason to think otherwise."
» Do you have any other family? Parents? Siblings? Extended? What do you think about them?
"I have my father, and that‘s all. My mom died shortly after she gave birth to me, so I never got to know her. My Nonna raised me mostly. My father was out making a living. I love my father very much, as he is all I have. But I really wish he wasn’t so adamant on making me take over the business. I refuse to do that. Call me a rebel if you must. I guess that's what I am.
I really miss Nonna a lot. She was the only mother I ever knew. But she‘s in a better place now. God, may she rest in peace."
» Do you work or go to school? Oh? What do you do there? You enjoying it?
"Well, I don't have a "real job", per say. But I have a band, and I consider that my job. I get payed to do itsometimes, so it's a job. I love it with all of my heart, and I really feel it's why I was put on this earth. I put all of myself into what I do, and that's what makes me so great. If you love what you do, you'll be great at what you do. That's what Nonna always told me."
» Any memory of your life you'd like to share? It can be a good or bad memory?
"When my dad and I high-tailed it out of Italy, and made our way to good old Faraway Island. Sure, it was a sad moment. But there‘s something about seeing a new city, knowing you have all of these new opportunities in front of your face. That boat was enormous too! Well, it was for a five-year-old, anyway. I remember my dad holding me by the railing and showing me the propellers. He almost dropped me as he was leaning over to show me, and obviously I was a little startled, read that, scared out of my mind., and I was crying and all that jazz, and my dad held me close and told me everything was going to be okay, and that he would keep me safe. Yeah... That was a great day."
» Where are you now? What are you doing with your life?
"Living in Faraway, helping my dad with his business. But I don‘t help him with the boats. Too. Close. To. The. Water.I live day-by-day, freelancing. I try to make money where ever I go, and look for career opportunities at every open door. I lie to open some doors, but that‘s okay. Sometimes Mister Carpita lets me play at the restaurant. He doesn‘t pay much, but hey! It‘s a living. He doesn‘t pay any less than my father pays me. Sure, he also makes me play those stupid Godfather tunes, but he's the boss. Gotta be the boss pleaser.
Basically I‘m just trying to make my voice known. Helping my band mates along the way to greatness is a big part of life too. Without them, it would be only me. It's great to have friends along for the ride. Though, I do of course play solo sometimes. The patrons like an acoustic set, I can't help it."
